Green Computing refers to environmentally sustainable computing. It is the study practice of designing, manufacturing, and disposing of computers, servers, and associated subsystems efficiently and effectively with minimal or no environmental impact.

IEEE BRACU SB organized this event while I was a sophomore.

Mongol Tori is a next-generation Mars rover made explicitly to compete at the prestigious Mars rover competition known as the URC – University Rover Challenge, a project of The Mars Society. Our rover ranked 3rd in URC 2020 worldwide.

I was in the autonomous team and responsible for autonomous rover traversal by reading GPS coordinates and single posts from given ARUCO tags. We approached several ways, including the Simultaneous Location and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm in Robotic Operating System(ROS). Besides, we used Raspberry Pi, a GPS module, a 9-axis IMU sensor, and a PID algorithm. We have also used the ArUco library (OpenCV) and RP Lidar A1 for obstacle detection.

Decluttering mental mess is ever more necessary in today's fast pace global village. So, I took this activity to learn meditation strategies to clean up the mental clutter, increase mindfulness, and live in the most focused way possible. Besides, I believe yoga helps me be physically flexible and keeps my cardio and circulatory health in good condition.
